Viva Swimming Lessons

Viva residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium pools serving 2, 4, 6 and 8 Suffolk Walk. Sessions depend on authorised access, current management rules, suitable water and deck conditions, learner needs, weather and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Viva, its developer, MCST and managing agent. A resident should confirm visitor registration and whether paid external swimming instruction is permitted before arranging a lesson.

Choose the appropriate pool area

Current project records list lap and wading pools at this completed 235-unit, four-block development. A jacuzzi is listed separately and is not treated as teaching water. The relationship between the pool areas, present configuration and depths requires on-site confirmation.

Inspect the management-approved water for visibility, depth transitions, safe entry, steps or ledges and a dependable recovery edge. Match the teaching position to the learner’s height, confidence and ability to return safely to the wall. A wading-pool label does not automatically establish suitability for every child.

Plan lessons around a larger shared estate

Beginning sessions may cover safe entry, breathing, immersion, floating, rotation, assisted propulsion and returning to the side. Progress should follow calm, repeatable control rather than forced distance.

Children require a clear handover, with a parent or authorised adult reachable throughout. Adult beginners can develop water comfort, exhalation, balance and efficient movement. Independent swimmers may refine alignment, freestyle breathing, backstroke, breaststroke timing, turns and paced repeats.

With 235 homes across four blocks, shared demand can change quickly. A lesson does not reserve a lane. The coach should shorten distances, change direction or pause when residents enter the working area. Keep equipment compact and clear of deck routes.

Confirm the correct Suffolk Walk block

Viva comprises 2, 4, 6 and 8 Suffolk Walk. The resident should provide the correct block, authorised entrance, visitor process, pool route and exact meeting point. Confirm rules covering instructors, guests, equipment, footwear, photography, noise, operating hours and child supervision.

Management instructions take precedence over property records and this page.

Safety and SwimSafer expectations

Pause for lightning, heavy rain, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instructions. Keep circulation and emergency routes clear, avoid glass near the water and share relevant medical, sensory, behavioural or water-confidence information beforehand.

Selected SwimSafer-related foundations may be practised when suitable. Formal assessment or certification is not automatically available at Viva and requires a separately confirmed arrangement.

What to include in an enquiry

Send the learner’s age, ability, goals, preferred timing, resident status, correct block, authorised entrance, visitor procedure, selected swimming water and relevant safety needs. State whether management has approved an external coach.
