Private Ladies’ Swimming Lessons at Your Condo Pool

Learn to Swim at the Pool Downstairs

CondoSwimming.sg arranges private swimming lessons for women and girls above 12 at their own condominium pool. Lessons suit complete beginners, women returning to swimming after a long break and swimmers who want to fix a stroke. You can ask for a female swimming coach; availability depends on your location and schedule and is confirmed before you pay.

Why Learn at Your Condo Pool?

  • No travel. The coach comes to your building, so a 45-minute lesson takes 45 minutes of your day.
  • A pool you already know. Familiar surroundings help many nervous beginners relax sooner.
  • Quieter times. Weekday mornings and afternoons are often quiet at condo pools, which many women prefer.
  • Learn with someone you know. Book one-to-one, or share lessons with a neighbour, friend or family member of a similar level.

Is a Condo Pool Private?

A condo pool is shared with other residents and their guests, so it is not women-only and other people may use it during your lesson. Your lesson itself is private: the coach teaches only you or your chosen group. Before lessons start, check that your management allows external coaches and whether you need to register the coach.

Lesson Format and Fees

Ladies’ lessons are 45 minutes each, sold in packages of four, for learners above 12 (published rates, checked 26 October 2026):

Format Fee for 4 lessons
1-to-1 $360
Group of 2 $220 per person
Group of 3 or more $180 per person

What You Will Work On

  • Water confidence: getting in and out safely, breathing out underwater, floating on your front and back, and standing up from a float.
  • Water-safety skills: treading water, changing direction, and staying calm if you lose your footing.
  • Your first stroke: usually breaststroke or freestyle, with backstroke once you are comfortable on your back.
  • Stroke refinement: for swimmers who already swim, work on breathing timing, kick and body position so swimming feels easier.

Progress depends on your starting confidence, how often you have lessons and whether you can practise in between. Your coach will review progress with you at the end of each package.

Swimwear

Full-coverage swimsuits, swim leggings and burkini-style swimwear made of swimwear fabric are fine for lessons. Some condos have their own attire rules, so check with your management.

Health and Safety

Swimming lessons are not medical treatment or a weight-loss programme. If you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a heart, lung or other medical condition, check with your doctor before starting and tell us when you enquire.

Coach Qualifications

Coaches arranged through CondoSwimming.sg hold qualifications from organisations such as SSI (Swim Schools International), AUSTSWIM, the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), the Singapore Swimming Teachers’ Association (SSTA) and ASCTA, and some are registered with Singapore’s National Registry of Coaches (NROC). Not every coach holds every qualification, so ask us to confirm your assigned coach’s current qualifications before you book.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need permission from my condo management?

Usually yes. Many condos require residents to register external coaches or book the pool. Check the rules before your first lesson.

Can I request a female coach for my condo?

Yes. We check which female coaches cover your area at the times you want and confirm before you book. Read more about female condo swimming coaches.

What if I have never swum before?

That is fine. Lessons start in water where you can stand, and your coach moves at your pace.

Can my neighbour or sister join my lessons?

Yes, if they are above 12. The group rates apply, and learners at a similar level are easiest to teach together.

What happens if it rains?

Lessons stop during lightning or heavy rain for safety. Ask us about how affected lessons are rescheduled when you book.

Ladies swimming lessons and female-coach requests at condo pools

Women can learn privately or in a compatible small group at an eligible Singapore condominium pool. Lessons can cover water confidence, breathing, floating, stroke foundations, fitness or technique correction. Tell us your current ability, goals, condominium and preferred times so the team can check a suitable coach and pool access.

Can I request a female swimming coach?

Yes. You can request a female coach for comfort, privacy, cultural preferences or beginner confidence. The request is subject to female-coach availability for your location and schedule, so provide two or more possible lesson times. Read the female condo swimming coach guide before enquiring.

Are these lessons suitable for women who cannot swim?

Yes, subject to a coach assessing the learner and pool. Adult beginners may start in standing depth with breathing, balance, floating and safe recovery skills before progressing to strokes. A respectful coach should explain each step and never move a nervous learner deeper without agreement.

What should I check with my condominium?

Ask the managing agent or MCST whether an external coach is permitted, what registration documents are required, and whether lesson times or group sizes are restricted. Review the condo pool rules guide, compare lesson fees, then check female-coach availability.
