Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex
A Neighbourhood Pool in the Heart of CCK
Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex sits inside the Choa Chu Kang Sports Centre, right in the middle of the CCK heartland. It’s a proper neighbourhood pool – nothing over the top, but it has what most families actually need: a lap pool, a shallow pool for the little ones, and instructors who know how to teach. If you’ve been searching for Choa Chu Kang swimming lessons close to home, this is a sensible place to start.
We run classes for complete beginners as well as for swimmers who just want to iron out their stroke. Whether it’s your first time in the water or you’re training for something specific, our Choa Chu Kang Swimming Coach and instructors will meet you where you are. Both group and private Choa Chu Kang Swimming Class options are available, so pick whichever suits your pace.

What You Get at the CCK Swimming Complex
Because the complex is part of the CCK Sports Centre, you can pair a swim with the gym or the sports hall on the same trip – handy if you’re bringing the whole family down. The Choa Chu Kang Swimming Pool is open to the public, and lesson slots run from early morning to evening, so it works whether you swim before work or after dinner. Do check the opening hours before you head over, since the pool closes one day a week for cleaning like most ActiveSG pools.

SwimSafer Lessons at Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex
Most parents who sign their kids up are working towards SwimSafer, and our lessons follow the national programme stage by stage. We start at Stage 1 and build up to Stage 6, so your child picks up water safety and stroke technique in the right order instead of rushing through. The same structure works for adults preparing for the assessment. Our Choa Chu Kang Swimming Instructor will tell you honestly which stage you’re at and what to work on next – no sugar-coating, just a clear plan.

Kids’ Swimming Lessons
Children learn faster when they’re actually enjoying themselves, so our kids’ classes mix games with the real skills – floating, kicking, breathing, then the strokes. Coaches keep the groups small so every child gets proper attention, and nervous kids are never pushed faster than they’re ready for. Over a few months, most go from clinging to the wall to swimming a full width on their own, which is always a proud moment for the parents watching.
Adult Swimming Lessons
Plenty of adults come to us having never learned as children, and there’s honestly nothing to be embarrassed about. Adult classes at the Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex are small and low-pressure. If deep water makes you anxious, we spend time there first until it stops feeling scary. If you can already swim and want to go faster or last longer, we focus on technique and stamina instead. Group or private – up to you.

Toddler Swim Classes
For the very young ones, it’s less about strokes and more about getting comfortable. Toddler sessions are short, playful and safety-first, with tight supervision and small numbers. Songs, splashing and simple games help them warm to the water instead of fearing it. Parents are welcome to get in and be part of it, and we’ll always tell you what to practise at home between lessons.
Ladies-Only Swimming Lessons
We also run ladies-only Choa Chu Kang Swimming Lessons for women who’d rather learn in a female-only setting, with female instructors available on request. Beginners and improvers are both welcome – come for fitness, come to finally learn after putting it off for years, or just come to unwind after a long week.

Address, Opening Hours & Getting There

| Every day except Monday | 8:00am – 9:30pm |
| Tue, Thu, Sat (Competition Pool only) | 6:30am – 8:00am |
| Monday | Closed for weekly maintenance |
The pool closes every Monday for cleaning – though if a Monday lands on a public holiday, it opens 8:00am to 9:30pm instead. Choa Chu Kang is a feature pool, so on top of the competition pool you’ll find a wave pool, a wading pool, a water slide and a spa pool. Entry costs a little more than a standard pool, so it’s worth checking the latest rates on the ActiveSG website before heading down.
How to Get There
By MRT: the sports centre sits between Choa Chu Kang and Yew Tee stations on the North-South Line – from either it’s a short feeder-bus ride or a walk of roughly 12–15 minutes. By car: there’s open-air parking on-site at standard ActiveSG rates. The complex is right next to Choa Chu Kang Stadium, so once you’re in the sports centre just follow the signs to the pool.

Compare public-pool and condo-pool lesson options
A public swimming complex may suit fixed classes and independent practice. If you prefer less travel or coaching at your residence, compare kids condo swimming lessons, adult condo swimming lessons, and the Singapore condominium lesson directory. Condo sessions remain subject to management permission, pool suitability and coach availability.
Review current lesson rates, then send your condominium and preferred schedule for an availability check.
