Confirm the swimming pool, not the wading pool

Current project records identify Vitra as a completed 17-unit residential condominium from 2009 at 170 Tembeling Road. A current direct record shows an active listing, while the facilities information explicitly identifies both a swimming pool and a wading pool.

The two water areas are not interchangeable. Lesson enquiries concern only the exact swimming pool that management confirms may be used for paid coaching. A wading pool must not be assumed to provide appropriate depth, space, circulation or permission for a lesson, even when the learner is young.

The resident should confirm visitor registration, instructor declarations, permitted coaching times, booking requirements, equipment restrictions and temporary notices before a coach travels. On site, the coach should verify current operation, usable depth, water clarity, safe entry and exit, available practice space, crowding and weather procedures. No pool dimensions, lane markings, exclusive teaching space, standing depth or guaranteed availability are assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginners may start with calm entry, water orientation, breathing control, balance and supported floating. Activities can then progress to kicking, propulsion, coordinated strokes and safer independent movement according to demonstrated readiness and the verified conditions in the exact swimming pool.

One-to-one lessons may suit a first-time swimmer, a nervous learner or a child needing closer feedback. Sibling and small-group requests require compatible ability, confidence, goals, pace and supervision needs. Separate sessions may be safer or more effective when those needs differ.

Parents should disclose relevant medical, sensory, mobility or learning considerations before coaching begins. A responsible adult may still need to remain close under the condominium’s current rules or the coach’s safety plan. Swimming skills do not replace active adult supervision around water.

Adult swimming lessons

Adult beginners can build confidence progressively through breathing control, buoyancy, stable body position and relaxed movement. Returning swimmers may focus on rebuilding comfort, receiving stroke feedback or developing more efficient practice when the confirmed swimming pool and shared-use conditions support the objective.

The coach adapts the plan after observing the learner. Progress varies with previous experience, attendance, practice, confidence and conditions. CondoSwimming.sg does not guarantee a fixed number of lessons, a particular stroke, distance or outcome.

SwimSafer-related practice

Private lessons at a condo pool may help a learner practise swimming and water-safety skills relevant to SwimSafer. They are not automatically official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Authorised programme arrangements remain separate, some activities may require another venue, and no stage result or certificate is promised.

Shared-pool safety and etiquette

Please provide the learner’s age group, present ability, goals, preferred timing and support needs. The resident must confirm legitimate access and whether a paid external instructor is currently permitted.

Posted rules and on-site management instructions take priority. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. A lesson must pause for lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, unsafe crowding or another hazard. Teaching aids should remain controlled, noise kept reasonable and shared routes kept clear for residents.
