The Ranz Swimming Lessons

Residents of The Ranz can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in a management-confirmed main swimming pool. Coaching may support children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Ranz, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. An eligible resident must verify every current access and facility rule.

Confirm the correct teaching pool

Current exact-project evidence identifies The Ranz as an occupied freehold development completed in January 2025, with 14 units in one block at 109 Rangoon Road. A current resident profile, active August 2026 listings, April and May 2026 resales and July 2026 rental evidence support occupation. Facility evidence identifies a communal swimming pool in current exact-project listings.

Only a management-confirmed main swimming pool is proposed for instruction. Every unverified auxiliary water area is excluded, together with every wading, children’s, spa, jacuzzi, jet, fun, private or decorative water area not expressly confirmed as part of the main pool. A pool deck, pond, fountain or water feature is not teaching water. An adjoining or visually connected area should not be assumed suitable.

The compact 14-unit project requires management confirmation that its actual pool layout, depth and shared-use conditions safely support instruction; a marketing tag alone does not establish teaching suitability.

Public records do not establish current depth, dimensions, maintenance condition, quieter periods, lifeguard provision or permission for paid external coaching. Management should confirm occupied-unit entitlement, exact unit, resident-authorised access, visitor registration, external-coach policy, approved teaching zone, permitted hours, supervision requirements and equipment or group-size limits.

Before the first lesson, the coach should inspect entries and exits, recovery edges, visibility, depth transitions, deck clearance and resident activity. No exclusive lane, reserved zone or private use should be assumed. Coaching should move, pause or stop whenever safe separation cannot be maintained.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner lessons may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Once these foundations are stable, instruction can add alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances appropriate to the learner and verified pool.

A parent or authorised adult should organise access and handover and remain contactable. Medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs should be disclosed beforehand so pacing, supervision and communication can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness, confidence and consistent practice rather than a promised timetable.

Children should not wait or practise in excluded wading, jacuzzi, spa, leisure, private or decorative areas. The responsible adult must follow current supervision rules before, during and after the lesson.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on efficiency, breathing rhythm, coordination, turns or pacing where the verified shared pool safely supports the objective.

The first lesson should match tasks to confidence and actual conditions. Distance, rest and complexity can increase gradually. General fitness or experience in another sport does not replace an in-water assessment.

Training aids should remain compact, management-approved and clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. Instruction must remain considerate of residents sharing the facility.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at The Ranz. A condo lesson is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Weather, safety and considerate use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current attire, guest, supervision, noise, photography and equipment rules apply on every visit.

Singapore weather can change quickly, so a booking does not guarantee safe teaching conditions. Practical postponement arrangements should be agreed without continuing in unsafe weather or water.

Use the resident-authorised route, keep belongings clear of circulation space and never block steps, ladders or recovery edges. The lesson footprint should shrink, move, pause or end as shared-pool activity changes.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, occupied-unit entitlement, exact unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, a management-confirmed main swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
