The Greenwich Swimming Lessons

The Greenwich residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the condominium’s communal lap or main swimming pool. Coaching may support children, adult beginners and improving swimmers, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, the correct block and arrival route, suitable conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Greenwich, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. An eligible resident must verify current rules.

Confirm the lap or main pool

Current records identify The Greenwich as a completed 319-unit condominium across eight Seletar Road blocks, with TOP in 2014. A resident profile, 28 active August 2026 sale listings and 2026 sale and rental transactions support occupation. Exact-project facilities identify a lap pool and swimming pool separately from a wading pool and jacuzzi.

The lap or main swimming pool is the relevant candidate teaching area. The wading pool and jacuzzi must not be represented as interchangeable lesson venues. Published records do not establish the relationship between the lap and swimming-pool labels, exact dimensions, depth, lane availability or permission for paid coaching.

Management should confirm the external-coach policy, visitor process, authorised hours and precise pool area. The coach should inspect water visibility, safe entries, recovery edges, depth transitions, deck conditions and resident activity before instruction.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, controlled exhalation, comfortable immersion, floating, rotation and return to a secure edge. Progress may then include alignment, kicking, coordinated arm movements and breathing over suitable distances.

A parent or authorised adult should complete handover and remain reachable. Medical, sensory, behavioural or previous water-confidence needs should be disclosed before coaching so activities and supervision can be adapted.

Adult beginner and improvement coaching

Adults starting from the beginning may practise relaxation, breath control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and short repeatable travel. Existing swimmers may refine efficiency, coordination, breathing rhythm, turns or pacing if shared-pool conditions support those goals.

No exclusive lane is promised. Training equipment should remain compact and clear of entries, resident paths and emergency access.

SwimSafer-related practice

Selected water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be rehearsed where appropriate. A lesson at The Greenwich is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires a separately confirmed approved venue, registration and assessor arrangement.

Safety and shared use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current guest, attire, noise, equipment, supervision and photography rules apply. Other residents retain normal use.

What to include in an enquiry

Provide the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred timing, occupied-unit entitlement, exact block and safety needs. Confirm external-coach permission, visitor procedures and the authorised lap or main swimming pool.
