The Arc at Draycott Swimming Lessons

Residents of The Arc at Draycott at 5 Draycott Drive may enquire about private or compatible small-group lessons in the management-confirmed communal lap pool. Sessions may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Arc at Draycott, its developer, owners, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, reserve facilities or approve an external coach. A current resident must arrange authorised access, and management must permit the activity.

Separate communal and private water

Current exact-project records identify a completed 58-unit apartment tower. July 2026 rental transactions and an August 2026 sale listing support continuing occupation.

Sources identify a communal lap pool, wading pool and jacuzzi. A private penthouse pool has also been reported, but private-unit water is not communal teaching access. Only the management-confirmed communal lap pool is proposed. The wading pool, jacuzzi, private pool and any children’s, family, spa, fun, hydrotherapy, jet, reflective or decorative water are excluded.

No current dimensions, depths, lane markings or water connections were independently verified. An older developer feature described a 50-metre lap pool, but management must confirm the current layout and must not rely on that historical measurement for lesson planning.

Access and suitability checks

Confirm occupied-unit entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, operating hours, participant limits, equipment rules, supervision requirements and booking procedure. Resident invitation does not itself authorise paid coaching.

Before teaching, inspect clarity, entries, recovery edges, depth transitions, deck clearance and the usable path. Confirm the communal/private distinction and every excluded boundary. If the pool is crowded, obstructed, too shallow or unsuitable, adapt, use another approved venue or stop.

Children and adult learners

Children may work on safe entry and exit, breathing control, floating, rotation and returning to an edge when the inspected lap pool suits them. Established learners may develop alignment, kicking, coordinated arms and breathing. A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain present or immediately contactable, and disclose relevant safety needs.

Adult beginners may build comfort through relaxation, balance, flotation, standing recovery and short travel. Existing swimmers may refine body position, rhythm, propulsion, timing and breathing. Diving, racing starts, forceful turns and prolonged underwater work require verified depths, clear space, readiness and explicit permission. Shared residential use takes priority.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised if the verified communal lap pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separate registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Safety and enquiry details

Stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, crowding or management instruction. Keep aids clear of entrances and emergency equipment, minimise noise and protect resident privacy.

Share the learner’s age, ability, goals, timing, occupied-unit connection and safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, communal lap-pool identity, excluded-water boundaries and coach availability.
