Confirm the block and water area
The current direct project record identifies Sims Green as a completed 108-unit condominium with active listings and a resident profile. Its facilities list separately identifies a swimming pool, wading pool and spa pool. These water areas must not be assumed interchangeable.
The resident and management must confirm the block, visitor route and pool permitted for teaching. The coach should verify present operation, depth, visibility, safe entry and exit, usable space, crowding and maintenance status. The spa pool is not an assumed teaching pool, and the wading pool should not be treated as suitable for stroke work without inspection.
Children’s lessons
Children may begin with calm entry, orientation, breathing, balance and supported floating. When readiness develops, coaching can progress to kicking, propulsion, coordinated strokes and safer independent movement. Instruction should reflect demonstrated confidence and the verified water area.
One-to-one lessons can support nervous beginners or learners needing close feedback. Sibling and small-group requests require compatible ability, confidence, goals, pace and supervision needs. Separate sessions may be recommended when grouping would compromise safety or practice quality.
Adult lessons
Adult beginners can work progressively on breathing, buoyancy, stable body position and controlled movement. Returning swimmers may request confidence rebuilding, technique feedback or more efficient practice where the permitted pool supports those goals.
Progress differs by learner and depends on consistency, prior experience, practice and confidence. No fixed lesson count, distance, stroke or result is guaranteed.
SwimSafer-related practice
Private condo coaching may support practice of swimming and water-safety skills relevant to SwimSafer. It is not automatically official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Authorised arrangements remain separate, some tasks may need another venue, and no certificate or stage outcome is promised.
Booking information
Please provide the learner’s age group, ability, goals, preferred timing, resident block and any relevant medical, sensory, mobility or learning needs. The resident must confirm visitor access and current management permission for a paid external instructor.
Checks may include instructor declarations, allowed hours, responsible-adult attendance, equipment restrictions, facility bookings, maintenance notices and lightning procedures. Access to one pool does not establish permission to use another.
Safety and shared use
Posted rules and on-site directions take priority. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Coaching must stop during lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, unsafe crowding or another hazard.
Running, unsafe diving, unsupervised entry and breath-holding contests should be avoided. Teaching aids must remain controlled and clear of paths. Moving between water areas requires explicit approval and a fresh suitability check.
