West Bay Condominium Swimming Lessons

Residents of West Bay Condominium can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed main swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of West Bay Condominium, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot approve an outside coach, arrange entry or reserve pool space. An eligible resident must confirm every current access and facility rule.

Confirm the main communal pool

Current exact-project records identify West Bay Condominium as an occupied 99-year leasehold development completed in January 1994, with 318 units across six West Coast Crescent blocks. Active August 2026 sale and rental listings support continued occupation. The facility record lists a swimming pool separately from a wading pool.

Only the management-confirmed main swimming pool is proposed for teaching. The wading pool and any children’s, jacuzzi, spa, fun, private or decorative water areas are excluded. Public listings do not prove current dimensions, depth, maintenance condition, quieter periods or permission for paid external coaching.

Management should confirm occupied-unit entitlement, exact block, resident-authorised access, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours and equipment or group-size limits. The coach should inspect visibility, entries, recovery edges, depth changes, deck clearance and resident activity. No reserved lane or private use should be assumed.

Children’s lessons

Beginner coaching may develop safe entry and exit, controlled exhalation, comfortable immersion, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Once those foundations are reliable, lessons can add alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances appropriate to the verified pool.

A parent or authorised adult should manage access and handover and remain contactable. Medical, sensory, behavioural or previous water-safety needs should be disclosed before coaching so supervision, communication and pacing can be adapted.

Adult beginner and stroke coaching

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on efficiency, breathing rhythm, coordination, turns or pacing where the shared conditions support those goals.

The pool remains communal. Training aids should be compact, management-approved and kept away from entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised. A lesson at West Bay Condominium is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Safety and considerate use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current supervision, attire, guest, noise, photography and equipment rules apply. Residents retain normal pool use.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, occupied-unit entitlement, exact block and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the main swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
