Residents of The Summit can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium swimming pool. Sessions remain subject to resident-authorised access, current management permission, suitable conditions, learner requirements and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is an independent lesson provider and is not affiliated with The Summit, its developer, MCST, managing agent or management office. It cannot grant access, approve an instructor, reserve pool space or override condominium rules.

Verify the venue and current rules
Current property records identify The Summit as a condominium completed in January 1994, with 242 residential units in six blocks at 451 to 461 Upper East Coast Road. The project record includes a swimming pool, and current sale and transaction activity supports ongoing residential occupation.
A listed pool does not establish that commercial coaching is permitted. The resident arranging lessons should confirm visitor registration, instructor declarations, permitted hours, bookings, equipment restrictions and temporary notices with management. Resident-authorised entry and facility entitlement must be established before a coach attends.
Public records do not establish the pool’s dimensions, depth, lanes, standing areas or current availability. The coach should verify safe entry and exit, usable depth, visibility, crowding, weather and sufficient practice space. No exclusive lane or section is assumed, and normal resident use continues during any permitted lesson.
Children’s swimming lessons
A child beginning in the water may work on comfortable entry, orientation, breathing control, balance and supported floating. Kicking, propulsion, coordinated strokes and safer independent movement can be introduced progressively when readiness and verified conditions support them.
One-to-one coaching may help a nervous beginner or learner needing close feedback. Siblings or a small group can be considered when confidence, ability, pace, goals and supervision needs are compatible. Learners at substantially different stages may need separate sessions.
Parents should share medical, sensory, mobility or learning considerations relevant to the lesson. A responsible adult may need to remain nearby under condominium rules or the coach’s safety plan. Coaching does not replace active supervision around water.
Adult swimming lessons
Adult beginners can build water confidence through progressive work on breathing, buoyancy, body position and relaxed movement. Returning swimmers may request stroke feedback, pacing practice or confidence rebuilding, subject to the authorised pool area.
Plans are adapted to the learner rather than a fixed syllabus. Progress varies with experience, attendance, practice and conditions, so CondoSwimming.sg does not guarantee a fixed timeline, stroke, distance or outcome.
SwimSafer-related practice
Private coaching may support practice of skills relevant to SwimSafer. It is not automatically official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Authorised programme arrangements remain separate, some components may require another venue, and no certificate is promised.
Shared-pool safety and etiquette
The enquiry should provide the learner’s age group, ability, goals, preferred timing and any support needs. Confirm management permission for an external paid instructor before arranging attendance.
Posted rules and staff directions take priority. Keep equipment controlled, circulation routes open and noise considerate. Lessons must pause for lightning, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, excessive crowding or any other unsafe condition.
