Residents of The Stellar can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the development’s communal swimming pool on West Coast Road. Sessions require authorised entry, current management permission, suitable water and weather conditions, learner needs and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Stellar, First Bedok Land, GuocoLand, its MCST and managing agent. A resident should verify visitor registration and whether paid coaching is allowed before arranging a lesson.

Confirm communal versus private water
Current project records identify a communal swimming pool and a separate jacuzzi. GuocoLand’s historical project material also states that some units have private pools. These are different access and safety contexts and should never be treated as interchangeable.
For a communal-pool lesson, use only the management-approved swimming area. No dependable current length, depth or lane arrangement was located. A jacuzzi is not a teaching pool. Any lesson proposed in a unit’s private pool would require explicit authority from its owner or lawful occupier, safe access and a separate on-site assessment; residence elsewhere in the development does not grant use of it.
Fit the lesson to the learner and water
Beginners may practise safe entry, breathing, immersion, floating, rotation, assisted movement and returning to a stable wall. The working depth must suit height, confidence and recovery ability.
Developing swimmers can work on body alignment, freestyle breathing, backstroke, breaststroke timing and controlled repeats. The coach should adapt distances to the clear, usable section available that day. A booking does not reserve the pool or create exclusive use.
Give precise West Coast Road directions
Current records associate The Stellar with several West Coast Road addresses, including 12 and 20A. The resident should provide the authorised entrance, correct block or unit route, visitor procedure and exact pool-deck meeting point. This avoids confusion with Stellar RV, a separate River Valley development already covered independently.
Keep equipment compact and clear of walkways. Follow current rules on floats, fins, kickboards, photography and adult supervision.
Respond conservatively to conditions
Pause or reschedule for lightning, heavy rain, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, crowding or management instructions. A parent or authorised adult should remain contactable during a child’s lesson. Tell the coach about relevant medical, sensory or water-safety needs before the session.
Selected SwimSafer-related foundations may be practised, but formal assessment or certification is not automatically available at The Stellar.
What to include in an enquiry
Share the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred times, resident status, authorised entrance, visitor procedure, intended communal or legitimately controlled private pool and any relevant safety needs. Confirm permission first.
