The Silver Fir Swimming Lessons

Residents of The Silver Fir can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium pool on Butterworth Lane. Coaching depends on resident-authorised access, current management rules, a suitable teaching area and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent and is not affiliated with The Silver Fir, its developer, MCST or managing agent. A resident should confirm whether an external paid coach is permitted and provide the correct visitor process.

Choose the permitted water area

The current project record identifies swimming, wading and spa pools plus a pool deck. These areas should not be treated as interchangeable. Management and the coach must identify the permitted, safe teaching area and verify its actual depth, space and condition before lessons begin.

The Silver Fir has 33 units. Lessons should keep a modest footprint, preserve access and adjust when other residents need the shared facility.

Coaching for children and adults

Children can build confidence, controlled breathing, floating, balance, safe entries, kicking and early stroke coordination in progressive steps. The plan should begin from demonstrated ability and comfort.

Adult beginners may start with calm orientation, breathing and body position before developing propulsion and coordinated strokes. Experienced adults can request technique or fitness work where the selected pool supports it safely.

Sibling and small-group coaching requires compatible abilities, goals and supervision needs. Individual sessions can suit anxious learners, non-swimmers and those needing close feedback.

SwimSafer preparation

Condo coaching may support practice of relevant SwimSafer skills, but it is not automatically an official assessment. Authorised enrolment, assessment and certification are separate, and no outcome should be promised.

Some activities may require another facility. The coach can explain what is suitable after reviewing the learner and pool.

Before booking

Residents should confirm:

  • management approval for an external coach;
  • visitor registration and entrance steps;
  • the permitted pool and lesson times;
  • learner age, level, confidence and goals;
  • health or support considerations;
  • responsible-adult attendance requirements;
  • preferred schedule; and
  • current weather and facility conditions.

Coach availability and management permission are separate requirements. Both must be confirmed.

Safety and considerate use

All posted rules and management instructions apply. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Running, unsafe diving, breath-holding contests and unsupervised entry should be avoided. Lessons must pause during lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, crowding or any hazard.

Equipment should remain tidy and clear of walkways. Noise should be controlled and the lesson should adapt promptly around residents.

Discuss lesson suitability

Send the learner’s age group, current level, goals, preferred timing and confirmation of resident access. CondoSwimming.sg can review suitability and coach availability without representing The Silver Fir or promising permission.
