The Navian Swimming Lessons

Residents of The Navian at 178 Jalan Eunos may enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed main swimming pool. Sessions may suit children, adult beginners and improving swimmers, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Navian, its developer, owners, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, reserve facilities or approve an external coach. A current resident must arrange authorised access, and management must permit the activity.

Ask about The Navian swimming lessons.

Main pool only

The developer’s exact-project materials identify a 48-unit residence and a 20-metre swimming pool. An SGX-hosted annual report records Temporary Occupation Permit on 15 November 2019, while current exact-project listings support ongoing residential occupation. Directory facilities distinguish the swimming pool from a jet pool and wading pool.

This proposal applies only to the management-confirmed main swimming pool. The wading pool, jet pool and any children’s, spa, jacuzzi, fun, private, reflective, hydrotherapy or decorative water are excluded. Management should verify the current layout, pool boundary, depths and operational condition; historical marketing material does not establish current lesson suitability.

Resident access and estate permission

Confirm external-coach rules, visitor registration, operating hours, booking procedure, participant limits, equipment restrictions, supervision requirements and quiet periods. Resident invitation does not itself authorise paid instruction.

Inspect water clarity, access points, recovery edges, depth transitions, deck clearance and the usable swimming path before each session. Change the plan, postpone or use another approved venue when the pool is crowded, under maintenance, affected by weather or unsuitable for the learner. Estate notices and staff directions take priority.

Coaching for children and adults

Children may begin with safe entry and exit, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and returning to an edge. Learners with stronger foundations can develop alignment, kicking, coordinated arms, breathing and continuous swimming. A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain present or immediately contactable, and disclose relevant medical or water-safety needs.

Adult beginners may progress from relaxation and immersion to balance, flotation, standing recovery and short controlled travel. Existing swimmers may refine rhythm, propulsion, body position and breathing. The available swimming path is shared, so drills should remain compact and considerate.

Diving, racing starts, forceful turns and prolonged underwater work require verified depth, clear space, readiness and explicit permission. They should be omitted when the pool’s configuration or other residents’ use makes them unsuitable.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised when the verified main pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separate registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Safety and enquiry checklist

Stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, crowding or management instruction. Keep aids clear of entries and emergency equipment, minimise noise and protect resident privacy.

Share the learner’s age, ability, goals, preferred timing, occupied-unit connection and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident access, management permission, main-pool identity, separation from wading and jet water, and coach availability.
