The Montage Swimming Lessons

The Montage residents may enquire about private swimming lessons at the development’s swimming pool. Sessions depend on an occupied unit’s facility entitlement, resident-authorised entry, current management permission for an external coach, a suitable teaching area and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent from The Montage, its MCST, managing agent, developer and management office. It cannot approve access, reserve facilities or override any current rule.

Use the swimming pool, not an assumed water area

Current property records identify The Montage as completed in January 2010, with 32 residential units in one block at 50 Lorong M Telok Kurau. Its direct project page records a resident profile and transaction history and separately lists a swimming pool and a wading pool.

The two water areas should not be treated as interchangeable. The enquiry should identify the swimming pool as the proposed teaching area, while the wading pool may be too shallow or otherwise unsuitable for parts of a lesson. The coach must check the exact area management has authorised and adapt activities to its actual conditions.

A facility listing does not prove that commercial coaching is permitted. A resident with current rights should ask management about external-instructor approval, registration, coaching hours, booking rules, equipment and temporary restrictions. Public evidence relied upon here does not confirm dimensions, depths, lanes or present availability. No exclusive lane or private pool section is guaranteed.

Children’s swimming instruction

A child beginning in the water may work first on calm entry, orientation, breathing control, stable body position and supported floating. When ready, the learner can develop kicking, propulsion, coordinated strokes and safer independent movement. Activities are adjusted to demonstrated ability and the usable swimming-pool space.

Individual coaching can provide close feedback for a cautious beginner. Siblings and small groups may be considered if ability, confidence, learning pace, goals and supervision requirements are sufficiently similar. Large differences can make separate sessions safer and more productive.

Parents should share medical, sensory, mobility or learning considerations before scheduling. Depending on the child’s needs, management policy and the coach’s safety plan, a responsible adult may need to remain nearby. Coaching does not replace supervision at other times.

Adult lessons in a familiar setting

Adult beginners can build water confidence gradually through breathing, buoyancy, balance and relaxed movement. Returning swimmers may work on stroke coordination, pacing or confidence after time away from swimming. The actual plan depends on prior experience and what the authorised shared pool supports safely.

Progress is individual. Attendance, practice, health, experience and conditions all affect learning, so CondoSwimming.sg does not promise a fixed number of lessons, stroke, distance or result.

SwimSafer-related skills

Private coaching may include practice of selected skills relevant to SwimSafer. It is not automatically official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Authorised programme requirements are separate, some activities may need another venue, and a certificate is not promised.

Safe, considerate shared-pool use

Before each session, the coach should consider safe entry and exit, usable depth, water clarity, weather, crowding and surrounding activity. Lightning, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance or unsafe congestion requires a pause, change or rescheduling.

Posted notices, management directions and staff instructions take precedence. Keep equipment controlled, circulation areas clear and teaching considerate of residents using either water area.
