The Hillside residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal swimming pool. Coaching may support children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Hillside, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot approve an external coach, grant entry or reserve pool space. An eligible resident must verify all current rules.

Confirm the communal swimming pool
Current exact-project evidence identifies The Hillside as an occupied freehold condominium completed in January 2001, with 340 units across four blocks. Active August 2026 listings and transactions support current occupation. The facility record identifies a communal swimming pool separately from a wading pool.
Only the management-confirmed communal swimming pool is proposed for instruction. The wading pool and every children’s, spa, jacuzzi, fun, private or decorative water area are excluded. Public records do not establish current depth, dimensions, maintenance condition, quieter periods, a lifeguard or permission for paid external coaching.
Management should confirm occupied-unit entitlement, the relevant block, resident-authorised access, visitor registration, approved teaching area, external-coach policy, permitted hours, supervision requirements and equipment or group-size limits. The coach should inspect entries, visibility, recovery edges, depth transitions, deck clearance and resident activity. No private use or exclusive lane should be assumed.
Lessons for children
Beginners may practise safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and returning reliably to the wall. When foundations are dependable, teaching can add body alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over suitable distances.
A parent or authorised adult should arrange entry and handover and remain contactable. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs beforehand so pacing, supervision and communication can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness and consistent practice rather than a guaranteed schedule.
Adult beginners and stroke coaching
Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and controlled short travel. Existing swimmers may improve efficiency, breathing rhythm, coordination, turns or pacing where the verified pool and shared conditions safely support the goal.
Training aids should remain compact, management-approved and clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The pool remains communal, and residents retain normal use.
SwimSafer-related practice
Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised. A lesson at The Hillside is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separate registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.
Safety and pool etiquette
Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current attire, supervision, guest, noise, photography and equipment rules apply. Conditions should be checked each visit.
Enquiry information
Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, occupied-unit entitlement, relevant block and safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the communal swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
