The Chuan Swimming Lessons

Residents of The Chuan at 31 Lorong Chuan may enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed lap or main swimming pool. Sessions may suit children, adult beginners and established swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of The Chuan, its developer, owners, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, reserve a facility or approve an external coach. A current resident must arrange authorised access, and management must permit the coaching activity.

Use the main or lap pool, not secondary water

Current exact-project records identify The Chuan as a completed 106-unit condominium at 31 Lorong Chuan. Current 2026 resale and rental records, together with an exact-project MCST record, support continuing residential occupation and managed-estate status.

Exact-project facility sources identify a lap or swimming pool, plus a wading pool and jacuzzi. This page proposes only the management-confirmed main or lap pool. The wading pool, jacuzzi and any children’s, spa, fun, hydrotherapy, jet, reflective, private or decorative water are excluded.

Descriptions do not prove current dimensions, depths, lane markings or whether separate water features connect. Management should confirm the complete water inventory and usable basin before booking. Where pool boundaries are visually unclear, the coach should inspect the site and keep the lesson within the approved main swimming area.

Access and first-session checks

Confirm occupied-unit entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach rules, operating hours, participant limits, equipment restrictions, supervision requirements and booking procedure. Resident invitation does not itself authorise paid instruction.

Inspect water clarity, entries, recovery edges, depth transitions, deck clearance and the uninterrupted swimming path. Adapt or stop if the pool is crowded, under maintenance, too shallow or unsuitable for the intended activity. Estate notices, lightning controls and staff directions take priority.

Children’s and adult programmes

Children may develop safe entry and exit, breathing control, floating, rotation and returning to an edge when the inspected main pool suits the learner. More established swimmers may practise alignment, kicking, coordinated arms, breathing and efficient continuous swimming. A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain present or immediately contactable, and disclose relevant medical or water-safety needs.

Adult beginners may build confidence through relaxation, balance, flotation, standing recovery and short controlled movement. Existing swimmers may refine body position, rhythm, propulsion, timing and breathing. Diving, racing starts, forceful turns and prolonged underwater work require verified depths, clear space, readiness and explicit permission. Other residents retain priority in the shared pool.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised when the verified main or lap pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separate registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Safety and enquiry information

Stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, crowding or management instruction. Keep aids clear of entrances and emergency equipment, minimise noise and protect resident privacy.

Share the learner’s age, ability, goals, preferred timing, occupied-unit connection and safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, main/lap-pool identity, separation from the wading pool and jacuzzi, and coach availability.
