Tembusu Grand residents can enquire about private or small-group swimming lessons at their condominium pool. Lessons depend on authorised access, current management rules, learner suitability, an appropriate pool area and coach availability.

A newly completed Katong development with four pool types
City Developments Limited reported that the 638-unit Tembusu Grand obtained Temporary Occupation Permit in December 2025. Developer materials describe a 50-metre infinity lap pool, wading pool, relaxing pool and spa pool.
The variety is useful only when residents and coaches choose the area responsibly. A lap pool may support longer stroke work, while a wading area may appear approachable for children but can be busy and may have rules that prevent coaching. Relaxing and spa pools are not default teaching areas.
Matching the lesson to the pool
Young and nervous learners
Start with water confidence, safe entry and exit, breath control and movement in a management-permitted area. Check depth rather than relying on a facility name.
Children developing strokes
The 50-metre pool may provide continuous distance, but a full length is not necessary for every learner. Lessons should avoid obstructing residents and use only the space needed.
Adult beginners and improvers
Private sessions can focus on confidence, breathing, stroke timing or endurance. The proposed location and time should balance learning needs with shared-facility etiquette.
Confirm Tembusu Grand’s visitor and coaching rules
Ask whether paid external coaching is permitted, whether the coach needs advance registration or documents, which entrance and pool zone should be used, whether a resident escort is required, and whether management restricts times, group size or teaching equipment.
Also confirm lightning alerts, pool closures and facility-booking procedures. The resident remains responsible for lawful access.

Tembusu Grand lesson FAQ
Can a coach teach at Tembusu Grand?
Possibly, if the resident has access, current rules allow external paid coaching, a suitable area is available and the coach match is confirmed.
Is the infinity lap pool suitable for children?
It depends on depth, confidence, supervision, other users and management rules. Pool length is not a safety assessment.
Can the wading pool be used for toddler lessons?
Do not assume so. Confirm management permission, actual depth, crowding and the proposed lesson plan. Toddler lessons may also require an accompanying adult.
Are small groups available?
They may be possible for compatible swimmers when management permits the ratio and a suitable space is available.
