Current development records distinguish a 50m lap pool from a separate 50m leisure pool. The lap pool is the natural first choice for progressive breathing, stroke development, pacing and endurance when a safe clear side is available.
The published length does not establish current depth, lane markings or uninterrupted usable distance. Inspect the selected entry, wall, steps, ledges and recovery access before teaching. Keep beginners beside a dependable edge and extend repeats only while a swimmer maintains control.
Do not treat the leisure pool as overflow lane space simply because it shares the same reported length. Its shape, traffic and purpose may differ.
Separate family, wellness and ecological water
Facility records also identify a wading and fun pool, water-play area, heated jacuzzis, hydro-jet seats, dip pool and lagoon pool. The wading or fun area may support selected early-confidence work after its current depth and recovery points are checked.
Heated jacuzzis, hydro-jets and dip pools are specialist leisure or wellness water. The eco-pond and any decorative water are ecological or landscape features and must never be used for lessons.
