Seventy St. Patricks Swimming Lessons

Learning at the condo lap pool

Seventy St. Patricks is a completed and occupied condominium. Current exact-project records identify 186 homes and recent sale activity, while exact-project facilities material identifies a communal lap pool alongside several other water features.

Only the main communal lap pool may be considered for teaching after management confirms its present condition and external-coach policy. Published marketing material refers to a 50-metre lap pool, but residents and the coach must verify the usable teaching area, depths, access route, lane availability and any changes before a booking. A historical marketing dimension is not a promise of uninterrupted lesson space.

The wading pool, jacuzzis, hydro gym, hydro lounge, hydro jets, trellis pool, bubble pool, private jacuzzi, reflecting pool, bio-pond, fountains, wet-play area and decorative water are excluded. Children must not be moved into a shallow leisure feature merely because the main pool is busy.

Lessons for children and adults

Children can work on safe entry and exit, breath control, floating, balance, recovery, propulsion and progressive stroke foundations. The lesson plan should match the child’s age, confidence and verified pool depth rather than follow a fixed template.

Adults may start as complete beginners, rebuild water confidence or refine technique. Early sessions can emphasise calm exhalation, supported balance and short controlled movements. More continuous swimming is appropriate only when space, depth, resident use and the learner’s ability allow it.

SwimSafer-related skills may be practised, but lessons at Seventy St. Patricks are not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Official stages and awards require an authorised programme and assessment venue.

Access, safety and condo etiquette

This is private residential property, not a public swimming complex. An eligible occupied-unit resident must confirm pool entitlement, guest registration, external-coach permission, lesson hours, group-size limits and equipment restrictions with management or security. A tenant should also check whether tenancy arrangements provide the necessary facility rights.

Lessons should use a compact area, avoid peak periods, control noise and yield promptly to residents. Sessions must stop during lightning risk, maintenance, contamination, unsafe deck conditions or official closure. No lifeguard is assumed. Children and non-swimmers require active adult supervision before and after the coached session.

Before enquiring

Please provide the learner’s age, present ability, goals, preferred schedule, exact estate block and unit, resident entitlement and management’s current external-coach position. Acceptance remains conditional on management permission, verified lap-pool suitability, safe conditions and coach availability.

Frequently asked questions
