Sanctuary Green Swimming Lessons

Sanctuary Green residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium pool. Coaching remains subject to resident-authorised access, current management rules, suitable pool conditions, learner needs and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent and is not affiliated with Sanctuary Green, its developer, MCST or managing agent. A resident must confirm that an external paid coach may enter and teach at the shared facility.

Confirm block access and pool suitability

The current project record identifies a swimming pool at Sanctuary Green, a 522-unit development across six Tanjong Rhu Road blocks from 181 to 191. Residents should provide their exact block and authorised entrance so access is not assumed across the estate.

The record does not confirm the pool’s actual depth, dimensions, current condition or teaching policy. Management and the coach should verify the permitted area and its suitability before lessons begin. Sessions must leave reasonable space for other residents.

Children’s lessons

Children may progressively build water confidence, controlled breathing, floating, balance, safe entries, kicking and early stroke coordination. Instruction should start from what the child demonstrates safely rather than an assumed age-based level.

One-to-one lessons can benefit nervous beginners, non-swimmers and learners needing close feedback. Sibling or small-group coaching works only when skills, pace, goals and supervision needs align. Separate sessions may be safer and more productive for substantially different levels.

Adult swimming coaching

Adult beginners can begin with pool orientation, relaxed breathing, body position and basic propulsion before developing coordinated strokes. Adults with prior experience may request technique correction or fitness work where the verified pool environment supports it safely.

Progress varies with confidence, attendance, previous experience and practice. A programme should follow an initial assessment rather than a guaranteed fixed lesson count.

SwimSafer-related practice

Private condo coaching may support practice of relevant SwimSafer skills. It is not automatically an official enrolment, assessment or certification session. Authorised arrangements are separate, and no stage result or certificate should be promised.

Certain activities may require another facility. The coach can advise after reviewing the learner and the actual permitted pool.

Details required before booking

Residents should confirm:

  • management permission for an external swimming coach;
  • the exact block, entrance and visitor-registration process;
  • current pool operation and permitted teaching times;
  • learner age group, confidence, experience and goals;
  • relevant health, sensory or support considerations;
  • responsible-adult attendance requirements;
  • preferred schedule; and
  • current weather, crowding and facility conditions.

Management permission and coach availability are independent requirements. Neither overrides the other.

Safety and neighbour consideration

All posted rules and on-site directions apply. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Running, unsafe diving, unsupervised entry and breath-holding contests should be avoided. Coaching must stop during lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, overcrowding or another hazard.

Equipment should remain tidy and clear of paths. Lesson noise and the pool space used should remain reasonable for a large shared residential facility.
