Match the lesson to the water area
Where authorised, a lap pool may support stroke rhythm, endurance and repeatable distances. A dip pool or interactive water feature should never be assumed suitable for instruction from its name or appearance. Depth, visibility, circulation, play activity and safe exits must be assessed before any learner enters.
For a child beginner, the first priority is controlled entry, orientation, breathing and the ability to regain a secure position. For an adult improver, a coach may use timed or counted repeats to evaluate efficiency. SwimSafer-related skills may be practised only when the permitted depth and space support the specific task; official assessment arrangements remain separate.
Access and waterway context
Riversails is associated with the Upper Serangoon and riverfront setting, but nearby waterways are not lesson venues. The enquiry concerns an authorised condominium pool only. Residents should verify visitor registration, external-coach rules, equipment restrictions, lightning procedures and any designated teaching periods.
