River Place Swimming Lessons

Residents of River Place can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of River Place, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Use the main pool, not leisure water areas

Current exact-project sources identify River Place as an occupied 99-year leasehold condominium at 60 to 66 Havelock Road, completed in 2000 with 509 homes. Current 2026 listings support continuing occupation. The developer’s current project page identifies swimming and fun pools as well as a separate wading pool, while other exact-project sources separately identify a main swimming pool, jacuzzi and wading pool.

Only the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool is proposed for instruction. The fun pool, wading pool, jacuzzi and every children’s, spa, private or decorative water area are excluded. A combined marketing caption such as “swimming pool and fun pool” must not be read as proof that both areas are interchangeable or suitable for teaching.

Management and the coach should verify usable length and width, depth profile, safe entries, recovery edges, visibility, depth transitions, deck clearance, water condition and resident traffic. Public information does not establish current dimensions, quiet periods, lane availability, lifeguard provision or permission for paid external coaching. Marketing language describing a pool as suitable for exercise remains subject to the actual conditions and estate rules.

Management should also confirm the exact occupied unit, access entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach rules, approved teaching zone, permitted hours, supervision duties and equipment or group-size limits. No exclusive lane, reserved area or private use should be assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Stable foundations can lead to alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances appropriate to the learner and verified main pool.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange entry and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision requirements. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs beforehand so pacing, communication and supervision can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness and consistent practice rather than a promised timetable.

Children should not wait or practise in the fun pool, wading pool, jacuzzi or any other excluded water area during a CondoSwimming.sg lesson.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, coordination or efficiency when actual pool conditions safely support the objective. Turns, diving and longer repeats should wait until current dimensions, depths and resident traffic are checked.

Approved teaching aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. A busy riverfront condominium pool may require a reduced lesson footprint or a pause even during an otherwise approved time.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at River Place. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Weather, safety and shared use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Follow current guest, attire, noise, photography and equipment rules. Coaching should move, reduce scope, pause or end whenever resident activity prevents safe and considerate shared use.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the selected main communal pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
