Residents of Ritz @ Farrer can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in a management-confirmed main swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Ritz @ Farrer, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot approve a coach, reserve pool space or grant entry. An eligible resident must confirm the current rules and arrange authorised access.

Confirm the teaching area before booking
Current exact-project evidence identifies Ritz @ Farrer as an occupied freehold development completed in 2017, with 18 units in one six-storey block at 142 Race Course Road. Current resident and market evidence supports continued occupation. Exact-project materials list a communal swimming pool separately from the sky terrace, sun deck, barbecue area and outdoor gym.
Only a management-confirmed main swimming pool is proposed for instruction. The sun deck and every wading, children’s, spa, jacuzzi, fun, private or decorative water area are excluded. A deck, fountain, pond or water feature is not teaching water.
Because this is a compact 18-unit development, an online facility label does not establish pool dimensions, depth, current condition, quiet periods or permission for paid external coaching. Management should confirm the exact teaching area, occupied-unit entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, supervision requirements, equipment limits and whether lessons must move or stop when residents need the pool.
Before the first session, the coach should inspect access points, steps, recovery edges, depth changes, visibility and deck clearance. No exclusive lane, reserved zone or private use should be assumed. The lesson footprint must remain modest and adapt to shared use.
Children’s swimming lessons
Beginner lessons may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. When these foundations are stable, instruction can add alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances suited to the learner and verified pool.
A parent or authorised adult should organise entry and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision rules. Medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs should be shared beforehand so pacing and communication can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness, confidence and consistent practice rather than a promised timetable.
Children should not wait or practise in excluded shallow, spa, jacuzzi, leisure, private or decorative areas. Current management rules apply before, during and after the lesson.
Adult beginners and stroke improvement
Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, coordination, efficiency or pacing where the confirmed shared pool safely supports the objective.
The first lesson should match tasks to confidence and actual conditions. Distance, rest and complexity can increase gradually. General fitness does not replace an in-water assessment, and compact training aids should be management-approved and kept clear of entrances and recovery routes.
SwimSafer-related practice
Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Ritz @ Farrer. A condo lesson is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.
Weather, safety and shared-pool etiquette
Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. A booking cannot guarantee safe conditions. Practical postponement arrangements should be agreed without continuing in unsafe weather or water.
Use the resident-authorised route, keep equipment and belongings clear of circulation space, and never obstruct steps, ladders or recovery edges. Noise, photography, attire, guest and equipment rules must be followed. Coaching should shrink, move, pause or end as resident activity changes.
What to include in an enquiry
Share the learner’s age, current ability, objectives, preferred timing, occupied-unit entitlement, exact unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, a management-confirmed main swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
