Parkshore Swimming Lessons

Parkshore residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium on Tanjong Rhu Road. Coaching depends on resident-authorised access, current management rules, a suitable permitted pool, learner needs and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent and is not affiliated with Parkshore, its developer, MCST or managing agent. Residents must confirm that an external paid swimming coach may enter and teach at the shared facility.

Confirm the teaching pool

The current project record identifies swimming and wading pools at Parkshore. These should not be treated as interchangeable. Management and the coach must identify the permitted teaching area and verify its actual depth, space, condition and suitability before instruction begins.

Parkshore is a 152-unit, single-block development. Lessons should maintain a modest footprint, preserve normal resident access and adapt when the shared pool is crowded.

Lessons for children

Children may progressively build water confidence, controlled breathing, floating, balance, safe entries, kicking and early stroke coordination. The starting point should reflect what the child demonstrates safely rather than an assumed age-based level.

One-to-one coaching may suit nervous beginners and learners needing close feedback. Sibling or small-group lessons require compatible abilities, goals, pace and supervision needs. Separate sessions may be recommended where level differences affect safety or useful practice time.

Adult swimming coaching

Adult beginners can start with orientation, relaxed breathing, stable body position and propulsion before developing coordinated strokes. Adults with prior experience may request technique correction or fitness work where the verified teaching pool supports it safely.

Progress varies with attendance, confidence and previous experience. No fixed result or lesson count should be guaranteed before an assessment.

SwimSafer preparation

Private condo lessons may support practice of relevant SwimSafer skills. They are not automatically official enrolment, assessment or certification sessions. Authorised arrangements remain separate, and no stage result or certificate should be promised. Some activities may require another facility.

Booking checks

Residents should confirm management permission, entrance and visitor registration, the specific permitted pool and lesson times, learner age group and current level, relevant health or support needs, responsible-adult attendance, preferred schedule and current weather or facility conditions.

Management permission and coach availability are independent requirements and must both be current.

Safety and shared-pool etiquette

All posted rules and on-site directions take priority. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Running, unsafe diving, unsupervised entry and breath-holding contests should be avoided. Lessons must stop during lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, crowding or another hazard.

Equipment should remain tidy and clear of walkways. Noise and lesson space should remain considerate of other residents.
