One-North Residences Swimming Lessons

Residents of One-North Residences can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal lap pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of One-North Residences, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Public access to the development’s street-level plaza or shops does not provide access to secured residential pool facilities. Every coaching visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Confirm the secured lap pool

Developer and government sources identify One-North Residences as an occupied 99-year leasehold condominium at 7 and 9 One-North Gateway, completed in 2009 with 405 homes. Current August 2026 sale listings support continuing occupation. Government material specifically distinguishes public access to the plaza and retail outlets from secure-card access to residential lift lobbies, swimming pools and the gym.

Current exact-project directories identify a communal lap pool and separately list a general swimming pool, wading pool and jacuzzi. Only the management-confirmed communal lap pool within the secured residential facilities is proposed for instruction. The general leisure pool, wading pool, jacuzzi and every children’s, spa, fun, private or decorative water area are excluded.

Facility labels do not prove the current physical arrangement. Management and the coach should confirm which pool is officially designated as the lap pool, its usable length and width, depth profile, safe entries, recovery edges, visibility, water condition, deck clearance and resident traffic. They should establish whether any listed swimming pool is separate from or connected to the lap pool. Public sources do not establish lifeguard provision, lane availability, maintenance status or coaching permission.

Management should confirm the exact occupied unit and block, secure access entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, approved teaching zone, equipment restrictions and supervision or group-size limits. No exclusive lane, reservation or private use should be assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. When those foundations are stable, learners can practise alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances suited to their readiness and the verified lap pool.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange secure access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision requirements. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs beforehand so communication, pacing and supervision can be adapted. Progress varies and should not be linked to a guaranteed timetable.

Children should not wait or practise in the wading, jacuzzi, leisure or other excluded water areas during a CondoSwimming.sg lesson.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breath control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, coordination or efficiency where verified dimensions, depths and resident traffic safely support the goal. Diving, turns and longer repeats require a suitable, checked layout.

Approved aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The lap pool remains a shared residential amenity, so coaching should reduce scope, move or pause whenever safe separation cannot be maintained.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at One-North Residences. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Weather, safety and shared use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Follow current guest, attire, noise, photography and equipment rules. A coach may move, reduce, pause or end an activity whenever conditions become unsuitable.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and block, and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised secure access, management permission, the communal lap pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
