Mon Jervois Swimming Lessons

Mon Jervois residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal lap pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, suitable current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Mon Jervois, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Confirm the current communal lap pool

Current exact-project sources identify Mon Jervois across 39, 41, 43, 45 and 47 Jervois Road as a 99-year leasehold 109-unit condominium completed in 2017. Extensive August 2026 sale inventory, sales through May 2026 and rentals through July 2026 support continuing occupation.

The current 99.co exact-project facilities inventory identifies a lap pool, wading pool, jet pool, jacuzzi and water feature. Exact-project listing material also describes a children’s water-jet zone. Only the management-confirmed communal lap pool is proposed for instruction. The wading pool, jet pool, children’s water-jet zone, jacuzzi, water feature and every children’s, spa, fun, private, reflective, hydrotherapy or decorative water area are excluded.

Public evidence does not reliably establish the lap pool’s current dimensions, depths, lane markings, teaching boundaries, maintenance condition or normal usage pattern. Before teaching, the resident and coach should verify usable space, depth changes, visibility, water quality, safe entry and exit points, reachable recovery edges, deck clearance and resident traffic.

Management should confirm the exact occupied unit, resident pool entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, approved lap pool, teaching area, equipment restrictions, supervision requirements and participant limits. No lane, section or quiet period should be treated as reserved without express approval.

Children’s swimming lessons

Children may be taught in the verified communal lap pool when its inspected depths and recovery points suit their ability and management permits coaching. Beginners may practise safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Learners with secure foundations can develop alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances suited to the available space.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision rules. Medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs should be shared before the lesson so communication, pacing and oversight can be adapted. Progress varies and should not be tied to a guaranteed timetable.

The lap pool remains shared even when it appears quiet. The coach should keep activities compact and interruptible, preserve recovery access and adapt immediately when another resident enters the teaching path. The wading pool and children’s water-jet zone are not alternative beginner teaching areas.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and controlled travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, timing, coordination or sustainable movement through drills fitted to the verified lap pool.

Although the current facilities inventory uses the term “lap pool,” public evidence does not establish a reliable measured length or marked lanes. Fixed-distance sets should wait until the coach confirms the current usable path. Diving, racing starts, prolonged underwater work and forceful turns require suitable depths, sufficient clear space, individual readiness and management approval.

Approved aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The coach should shorten, relocate, pause or end an activity whenever safe separation from other pool users cannot be maintained.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Mon Jervois when the verified communal lap pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

The coach can explain which foundations may be practised safely at the condo and which programme activities require another approved environment. No stage completion or certification should be promised from condo sessions alone.

Weather, safety and shared-pool etiquette

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current estate notices and staff directions override property portals and older descriptions. Follow current rules for visitors, attire, noise, photography, equipment and poolside conduct.

Keep approved aids and belongings tidy, leave entrances and deck routes clear, and avoid monopolising the swimming path. If management cannot clearly identify the approved lap pool or its teaching boundary, the lesson should not proceed. The coach may adapt or stop the session whenever weather, water quality, visibility, crowding or learner readiness changes.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. State “Mon Jervois” and the relevant Jervois Road block so the location is unambiguous. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the selected communal lap pool, safe conditions and coach availability before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mon Jervois have a communal lap pool?

Yes. The current exact-project 99.co facilities record identifies a lap pool. Management must confirm its present condition and approve it for instruction.

Can the wading pool, jet pool or jacuzzi be used for lessons?

No. Those areas, the children’s water-jet zone, water feature and every spa, fun, private, reflective, hydrotherapy or decorative water area are excluded.

Is the lap pool suitable for measured-distance training?

The public facilities record uses the term “lap pool” but does not establish a reliable current length, depths or lane markings. The coach must verify these conditions before planning distances.

Does resident access automatically approve an external coach?

No. Resident authorisation is necessary, but management must also permit the coach, timing, selected pool, teaching area and equipment.

Is official SwimSafer certification included?

No. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification; those require a separate approved arrangement.
