Before instruction, inspect the selected section for steps, ledges, water features and the safest recovery wall. A learner who cannot stand comfortably needs close support and a deliberately limited working area.

Beginners can practise in short sections with frequent feedback instead of attempting complete lengths. Developing swimmers can build repeat distance gradually while protecting body position, breathing and timing.

Keep the dipping pool and jacuzzi separate
