Grange 80 Swimming Lessons

Residents of Grange 80 can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal lap or swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Grange 80, its owner, developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Confirm the pool and access arrangement

Current exact-project sources identify Grange 80 as an occupied freehold condominium completed around 2000 at 80 Grange Road, with 10 residential units. March 2026 rental listings available from July 2026 and recent rental data support occupation. Exact-project sources describe a communal swimming or lap pool.

Only the management-confirmed main communal lap or swimming pool is proposed for instruction. Any children’s pool, wading pool, spa, jacuzzi, fun pool, private pool or decorative water feature is excluded. One directory says residents may access facilities at another development; that claim must not be treated as lesson permission. CondoSwimming.sg proposes lessons only at the pool that Grange 80 management confirms belongs to the resident’s current entitlement and permits for coaching.

Management and the coach should verify the pool’s usable length, width, depth profile, safe entries, recovery edges, visibility, deck clearance, water condition and resident traffic. Public descriptions do not establish quiet periods, lifeguard provision, lane allocation or permission for paid external coaching.

Management should also confirm the exact unit, occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, visitor registration, external-coach rules, approved teaching zone, permitted hours, supervision duties and equipment or group-size limits. No exclusive lane, reserved area or access to another property’s facilities should be assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Stable foundations can lead to alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances appropriate to the learner and verified pool.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision requirements. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs before the first lesson so pacing, communication and supervision can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness and consistent practice rather than a promised timetable.

Adult beginners and stroke development

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, coordination or efficiency when actual conditions safely support the objective. Longer repeats and turns should wait until current dimensions, depths and shared use are checked.

Approved teaching aids must stay clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The first session should match activities to confidence and onsite conditions.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Grange 80. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Weather, safety and shared use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Follow current guest, attire, noise, photography and equipment rules. Coaching should move, reduce scope, pause or end whenever resident activity prevents safe and considerate shared use.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the management-selected communal pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
