Grand Chateau Swimming Lessons

Grand Chateau residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, a suitable current pool configuration, safe conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Grand Chateau, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Use the swimming pool, not the wading pool

Current exact-project sources identify Grand Chateau as an occupied freehold 69-unit condominium at 2 Jalan Rajawali. EdgeProp, 99.co and SRX use 1996 for completion, while PropertyGuru and an estate directory use 1997. The discrepancy should be resolved from an official estate or title record before publication. A March 2026 sale, rental transactions through July 2026 and current August 2026 room listings support continuing occupation.

PropertyGuru, 99.co and SRX separately identify a swimming pool and wading pool. Only the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool is proposed for instruction. The wading pool is excluded, together with every children’s, spa, jacuzzi, fun, hydrotherapy, reflective, decorative or private water area.

Public sources do not reliably establish the main pool’s current length, width, depths, lane markings, maintenance status, supervision arrangements or approved teaching zone. Before instruction, management and the coach should verify pool identity, usable dimensions, depth changes, visibility, water condition, safe entry and exit points, reachable recovery edges, deck clearance and normal resident traffic.

The physical boundary between the swimming pool and wading pool should remain clear throughout each session. Learners and teaching aids must stay fully inside the approved main-pool area, even if the wading pool appears convenient for a beginner.

Management should confirm the exact occupied unit, resident entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, approved teaching area, equipment restrictions, supervision requirements and participant limits. No lane, pool section or time should be treated as reserved without express approval.

Children’s swimming lessons

If the verified main communal swimming pool safely supports the activity, beginners may practise safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Learners with secure foundations can develop alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances matched to their readiness and the approved space.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision rules. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs before the lesson so communication, pacing and oversight can be adapted. Progress varies and should never be tied to a guaranteed timetable.

The wading pool is not proposed as a beginner shortcut. Its label does not establish suitable teaching depth, water condition, clear recovery points, visibility or management permission.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and controlled travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, timing, coordination or sustainable endurance through drills fitted to the verified pool.

Long-distance sets should not be promised without reliable current dimensions. Diving, racing starts, prolonged underwater work and turns require suitable depths, sufficient clear space, individual readiness and management approval. Approved teaching aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment.

The pool remains a shared residential amenity. The coach should reduce, move, pause or end an activity whenever safe separation from residents cannot be maintained. Resident access and immediate safety take priority over completing a planned drill.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Grand Chateau when the verified main communal swimming pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

The coach can explain which foundations may be practised safely at the condo and which programme activities require another approved environment. No stage completion or certification should be promised from condo sessions alone.

Weather, safety and condo etiquette

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current estate notices and staff directions override public property descriptions. Follow current rules for visitors, attire, noise, photography, equipment and poolside conduct.

Allow enough time for access procedures. Keep approved aids and belongings tidy, leave pool entries and deck routes clear, and avoid monopolising the water. Current room-rental listings cannot grant a coach access or override estate rules.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the current main communal swimming pool, safe conditions and coach availability before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Can lessons use the wading pool?

No. This proposal is limited to the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool. The separately listed wading pool and every other non-main water area are excluded.

Is the swimming pool suitable for lap training?

Public evidence does not establish reliable current dimensions or lanes. The coach must verify usable length, width, depths and resident traffic before planning distances.

Does a resident booking automatically approve an external coach?

No. Resident authorisation is necessary, but management must also permit the coach, timing, teaching area and equipment under current rules.

Was Grand Chateau completed in 1996 or 1997?

Current sources conflict. The year should be resolved from an official estate or title record before it is presented as settled fact.

Is official SwimSafer certification included?

No. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification; those require a separate approved arrangement.
