Gilstead Two Swimming Lessons

Gilstead Two residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at an approved communal pool at 2 Gilstead Road. Sessions depend on authorised entry, current management rules, suitable conditions, learner needs and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Gilstead Two, its developer, MCST and managing agent. A resident should confirm visitor registration and paid-coaching permission before booking.

Confirm communal water and pool labels

Current project records list lap, swimming and wading pools at this completed 110-unit development. The labels do not prove that all three describe separate basins or establish their present dimensions, depths, lanes and availability.

Current sale listings may also tag selected homes with private-pool features. Do not assume private water is communal or available for lessons. Management should identify the approved communal teaching area. Inspect entry, visibility, depth transitions, underwater ledges and recovery edges. Do not turn the “lap pool” label into an unsupported length claim.

Match practice to learner and shared space

Beginners may practise controlled entry, breathing, immersion, floating, rotation, assisted propulsion and returning safely to the wall. Use wading water only if its actual layout and activity level suit the learner.

Independent swimmers can refine body position, freestyle breathing, backstroke, breaststroke timing and controlled repeats. Set distances from clear usable water rather than an assumed lane. Booking a coach does not reserve the pool.

Use the written project name

Gilstead Two is the single-block development at 2 Gilstead Road, completed in 2014. The resident should provide the authorised entrance, visitor-registration procedure, lift or deck route and exact poolside meeting point.

Use “Gilstead Two” rather than changing the project name to “Gilstead 2.” Distinguish it from The Armadale at 60 Gilstead Road, Gilstead Mansion and other nearby Gilstead developments.

Follow current rules on coaching, guests, equipment, photography, noise, footwear, operating hours and child supervision.

Shared-pool safety

Pause for lightning, heavy rain, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, crowding or management instructions. Keep clear of private or restricted water and preserve deck access. A parent or authorised adult should remain contactable during a child’s lesson. Share relevant medical, sensory, behavioural and water-confidence needs beforehand.

Selected SwimSafer-related foundations may be practised when suitable, but formal assessment or certification is not automatically available at Gilstead Two.

What to include in an enquiry

Provide age, ability, goals, preferred times, resident status, entrance, visitor process, deck route, management-approved communal pool and relevant safety needs. Confirm permission first.
