Fortune Park Swimming Lessons

Fortune Park residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, a suitable current pool configuration, safe conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Fortune Park, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Confirm that the communal pool suits the learner

Current exact-project sources identify Fortune Park as an occupied freehold condominium at 109 Tampines Road with 68 units and completion in 1996. Current August 2026 resale inventory and rental transactions through June 2026 support continuing occupation.

Exact-project property sources list a communal swimming pool. They do not reliably establish its current length, width, depths, lane markings, maintenance condition, supervision arrangements or approved teaching zone. It should therefore be described as a swimming pool, not assumed to be a lap pool or represented as suitable for every lesson activity.

Only the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool is proposed for instruction. Every wading, children’s, spa, jacuzzi, fun, hydrotherapy, reflective, decorative or private water area is excluded unless a future on-site verification establishes a separate main teaching pool and management explicitly approves it. A facilities list cannot replace a current inspection or estate decision.

Before the first lesson, management and the coach should verify the pool identity, usable dimensions, depth changes, visibility, water condition, safe entry and exit points, reachable recovery edges, deck clearance and normal resident traffic. The coach should select distances and drills that fit the verified space rather than forcing a standard programme into an unsuitable layout.

Management should confirm the exact occupied unit, resident entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, approved teaching zone, equipment limits, supervision requirements and any cap on participants. No lane, pool section or time slot should be treated as reserved unless expressly approved.

Children’s swimming lessons

If the inspected communal swimming pool is suitable, beginner sessions may build safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Learners with secure foundations can work on alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances matched to their readiness and the available space.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision rules. Medical, sensory, behavioural or previous water-safety needs should be shared before the lesson so communication, pacing and oversight can be adapted. Progress differs between learners and should never be tied to a guaranteed timeline.

Any shallow or leisure water that is not the verified main communal swimming pool remains outside the lesson boundary. Visual convenience is not evidence of safe depth, clear recovery points or permission to teach there.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and controlled travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, timing, coordination or sustainable endurance through drills suited to the verified pool.

Diving, racing starts, prolonged underwater work and turns should not be assumed appropriate. They require suitable current depths, adequate clear space, individual readiness and management approval. Approved teaching aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment.

Because the pool is shared, the coach should reduce scope, move, pause or end an activity whenever safe separation from other residents cannot be maintained. Resident access and immediate safety take priority over completing a planned set.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Fortune Park when the verified communal swimming pool supports them. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

The coach can explain which foundations may be practised safely in the condo pool and which activities require another approved environment. No certification or stage completion should be promised from condo sessions alone.

Weather, safety and condo etiquette

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current estate notices and staff directions override public property descriptions. Follow the condo’s current rules for visitors, attire, noise, photography, equipment and poolside behaviour.

Allow enough time for access procedures. Keep approved aids and belongings tidy, leave entrances and deck routes clear, and avoid monopolising the water. If the pool becomes busy, adapt the session immediately or arrange another approved time.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the identity and suitability of the communal swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fortune Park’s pool a lap pool?

Current sources identify a swimming pool but do not reliably establish lap-pool dimensions or lanes. The usable layout must be verified before stroke distances are planned.

Can another water feature be used for beginners?

No unverified leisure or shallow water is included. This proposal is limited to the management-confirmed main communal swimming pool.

Does resident access automatically allow an external coach?

No. Resident authorisation is necessary, but management must also approve the coach, timing, teaching area and equipment under current rules.

Can small groups train at Fortune Park?

Only if management permits the group size and the inspected pool provides safe space without unreasonably restricting residents. Private or smaller-format coaching may be more suitable when space is limited.

Is official SwimSafer certification included?

No. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification; those require a separate approved arrangement.
