Floraview Swimming Lessons

Floraview residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the development’s communal swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Floraview, Flora Vista, the developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. An eligible resident must confirm the current rules for the residential component.

Confirm the residential pool and access route

Current exact-project records identify Floraview as an occupied freehold development completed in 2017, with 90 residential units across four low-rise blocks at Ang Mo Kio Street 66. A resident profile, active August 2026 sale listings and a current rental listing support occupation. The exact-project facility record separately identifies a swimming pool, wading pool and pool deck.

This page proposes only the management-confirmed communal swimming pool serving the residential development as the teaching area. The wading pool and any decorative, retail, private or non-swimming water area are excluded. Because Floraview forms part of a mixed residential and commercial development associated with Flora Vista, access to a shop or another public-facing part of the property does not establish entitlement to residential facilities.

Public records do not grant coach access or confirm the current depth profile, maintenance condition, quieter periods or paid-coaching policy. Before booking, management should confirm the correct residential entrance, visitor procedure, permitted hours, external-coach policy and any group-size or equipment restrictions. The coach should inspect water visibility, entries, recovery edges, depth changes, deck clearance and resident activity. No exclusive lane or private use should be assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner lessons may build safe entry and exit, controlled exhalation, comfortable immersion, floating, rotation and return to a secure edge. As confidence improves, practice may add body alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances suited to the verified pool layout.

A parent or authorised adult should manage access and handover and remain contactable. Medical, sensory, behavioural or previous water-safety needs should be disclosed before coaching so supervision, pacing and communication can be adapted.

Adult beginner and stroke coaching

Adults learning from the beginning may focus on relaxation, breathing control, flotation, balance, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may work on efficiency, breathing rhythm, coordination, turns or pacing where the shared pool and current conditions support those goals.

Private coaching does not make the communal pool private. Training aids should be compact, permitted by management and kept clear of entrances, resident circulation and emergency equipment.

SwimSafer-related practice

Selected water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised when the pool is suitable. A Floraview lesson is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires a separately confirmed approved venue, registration and assessor arrangement.

Safety and considerate pool use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current guest, attire, supervision, noise, photography and equipment rules apply. Residents retain normal use of the pool and deck.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, present ability, goals, preferred schedule, occupied-unit entitlement, exact residential block and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised entry, management permission and the communal swimming pool before booking.
