Shared-pool safety and etiquette
Provide the learner’s age group, current ability, goals, timing and support needs. The resident must confirm authorised access and whether a paid external instructor is permitted.
Posted rules and management directions take priority. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Lessons must pause for lightning, unsafe crowding, poor visibility, contamination or another hazard. Equipment should remain controlled and shared routes kept clear.
