Residents of Espada can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed main communal 40-metre lap pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Espada, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Use only the main lap pool
Current exact-project and 2026 review sources identify Espada as an occupied freehold condominium in the St Thomas Walk area, with 232 residential units. Current project coverage and market activity support occupation. Multiple exact-project sources identify a 40-metre communal lap pool alongside separate wading, jacuzzi, hot-tub and heated leisure pools, including elevated facilities.
Only the management-confirmed main communal 40-metre lap pool is proposed for instruction. The wading pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, heated pools and every children’s, spa, fun, private or decorative water area are excluded. Elevated or heated water must never be substituted for the main teaching pool merely because it is labelled a swimming pool.
Management and the coach should verify the published 40-metre length, usable width, depth profile, safe entries, recovery edges, visibility, depth transitions, deck clearance, water condition and resident traffic. Public descriptions do not establish clear lanes, quiet periods, lifeguard provision or permission for paid external coaching.
Management should also confirm the exact unit, occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, visitor registration, external-coach rules, approved teaching zone, permitted hours, supervision duties and equipment or group-size limits. No exclusive lane, reserved area, sky-level access or private use should be assumed.
Children’s swimming lessons
Beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Stable foundations can lead to alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances appropriate to the learner and verified main pool.
A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision requirements. Share medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs beforehand so pacing, communication and supervision can be adapted. Progress depends on readiness and consistent practice rather than a promised timetable.
Children should not wait or practise in the wading, heated, jacuzzi, hot-tub, elevated or other excluded water areas during a CondoSwimming.sg lesson.
Adult beginners and stroke improvement
Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm, coordination or efficiency when actual lap-pool conditions safely support the objective. A 40-metre pool does not require a beginner to complete full lengths. Turns and longer repeats should wait until current conditions are checked.
Approved teaching aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The first lesson should match tasks to confidence and actual conditions.
SwimSafer-related practice
Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at Espada. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.
Weather, safety and shared use
Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Follow current guest, attire, noise, photography and equipment rules. Coaching should move, reduce scope, pause or end whenever resident activity prevents safe shared use.
What to include in an enquiry
Share the learner’s age, ability, objectives, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the selected main communal 40-metre lap pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
