Confirm the communal pool to be used

Current property records describe Elliot At The East Coast as a condominium completed in January 2013, with 119 residential units across nine blocks on Elliot Road. The project facility record lists a swimming pool and lap pool separately from a jacuzzi and pool deck. Some unit listings also refer to private pools, so a resident must identify the exact communal water area proposed for coaching rather than imply access to a private unit facility.

Facility listings do not establish permission for paid lessons. Ask management about visitor registration, instructor declarations, coaching hours, bookings, equipment restrictions and temporary closures. The resident must have current facility entitlement and authorise the coach’s entry.

Public records do not prove dimensions, depths, lane arrangements, standing areas or current conditions. The coach should inspect safe entry and exit, usable depth, visibility, crowding, weather and practice space. No exclusive lane or area is assumed, and the swimming pool, lap pool, jacuzzi and any private pool must remain clearly distinguished.

Children’s swimming lessons

A beginner may start with calm entry, water orientation, breathing control, balance and supported floating. Activities can advance to kicking, propulsion and coordinated strokes according to demonstrated readiness and the characteristics of the authorised communal pool.

One-to-one instruction may suit a nervous child or learner needing close feedback. Sibling or small-group requests require compatible ability, confidence, pace, goals and supervision needs. Different stages may call for separate lesson times.

Parents should disclose relevant medical, sensory, mobility or learning considerations. A responsible adult may still need to remain nearby under management rules or the coach’s safety plan. Swimming instruction does not replace active supervision.

Adult swimming lessons

Adult beginners can build confidence progressively through breathing, buoyancy, stable body position and relaxed movement. Returning swimmers may request stroke feedback, pacing work or help rebuilding comfort after a break where the permitted area supports those goals.

Progress depends on prior experience, attendance, practice and conditions. CondoSwimming.sg does not promise a fixed number of sessions, stroke, distance or result.

SwimSafer-related practice

Private coaching may support practice of skills relevant to SwimSafer. It is not automatically official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Authorised programme arrangements are separate, some tasks may require another venue, and no certificate is promised.

Safety and shared-pool etiquette

Provide the learner’s age group, ability, objectives, timing and support needs, together with the block and communal pool proposed. Confirm access and management permission for a paid instructor.

Posted rules take priority. Equipment should remain controlled and routes clear. Lessons must pause for lightning, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, excessive crowding or another hazard. Private pools are outside the scope of this page unless separately and lawfully arranged by the entitled resident.
