East Mews residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium pool on Mountbatten Road. Sessions depend on resident-authorised access, current management rules, a suitable teaching environment, learner needs and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent and is not affiliated with East Mews, its developer, MCST or managing agent. A resident should verify whether an external paid swimming coach may enter and use the pool, then provide the correct visitor procedure.

Practise close to home
A familiar condo pool can reduce travel and make regular practice easier. The current project record identifies a swimming pool but does not establish dimensions, depth, lesson space or external-coaching restrictions. These details must be checked directly before a programme is agreed.
East Mews has 18 units. Lessons should maintain a small footprint, leave the pool entrance and surrounding routes clear, and adapt respectfully when other residents use the shared facility.
Coaching for kids and adults
Children can progressively build water confidence, controlled breathing, floating, balance, safe entries, kicking and early stroke coordination. The programme should begin from the child’s demonstrated comfort and ability.
Adult beginners may start with orientation, breathing and stable body position before moving towards propulsion and coordinated strokes. Experienced swimmers can request technique or fitness work when the verified pool setup supports it safely.
Sibling and small-group options require compatible abilities, goals and supervision needs. Individual coaching can better support anxious beginners, non-swimmers and learners who need close feedback.
SwimSafer preparation
Private condo coaching can support practice of selected SwimSafer-related skills, but it is not automatically an official assessment. Authorised programme enrolment, assessment and certification are separate. No coach should promise a stage outcome or certificate.
Some activities may require another venue. The coach can identify suitable practice only after considering the learner and the actual facility.
Information needed before a session
Residents should confirm:
- management approval for an external swimming coach;
- entrance, security and visitor-registration steps;
- permitted lesson times and pool areas;
- learner age, current confidence, experience and goals;
- relevant health or support considerations;
- parent or responsible-adult attendance requirements;
- preferred schedule; and
- current weather and facility conditions.
Management permission and coach availability are independent requirements. Both must be resolved before a lesson begins.
Safety and neighbour consideration
All posted pool rules and management instructions apply. Children and non-swimmers require active supervision. Running, unsafe diving, breath-holding contests and unsupervised entry should be avoided. Sessions should stop during lightning alerts, contamination concerns, poor visibility, overcrowding or any other unsafe condition.
Equipment should remain compact and tidy, without blocking the deck or access. Noise should be controlled and the lesson plan should adjust promptly around other residents.
Discuss East Mews lesson suitability
Send the learner’s age group, current level, goals, preferred timing and confirmation of resident access. CondoSwimming.sg can assess suitability and coach availability without representing East Mews or promising management permission.
