D'Cambridge Swimming Lessons

Residents of D’Cambridge can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the management-confirmed communal swimming pool. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers refining technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe current conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of D’Cambridge, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot grant entry, approve an external coach or reserve pool space. Every visit requires an eligible occupied unit and resident authorisation.

Confirm the main swimming pool boundary

Current exact-project sources identify D’Cambridge as a freehold 30-unit apartment development at 60 and 62 Cambridge Road, completed in 2006. A current sale listing, July 2026 rental activity and an owner-and-tenant resident profile support continuing occupation.

Current exact-project sources distinguish a communal swimming pool from a wading pool, jacuzzi and water feature. Only the management-confirmed main swimming pool is proposed for instruction. The wading pool, jacuzzi and water feature are excluded, together with every children’s, spa, fun, private or decorative water area. Public evidence does not reliably establish the main pool’s dimensions, depths, lane markings, lifeguard provision, maintenance status or quiet periods.

Management and the coach should verify the main pool’s usable length and width, depth changes, visibility, water condition, safe entry and exit points, recovery edges, deck clearance and resident traffic before coaching. They should identify the boundaries between the main pool and every other water area and keep each lesson fully within the approved teaching space. Any changed or unlisted water feature must remain outside the teaching boundary.

Management should confirm the exact occupied unit, access entitlement, visitor registration, external-coach policy, permitted hours, approved teaching zone, equipment restrictions and supervision or group-size limits. No lane, pool section or time slot should be treated as reserved unless expressly approved.

Children’s swimming lessons

Where the verified main pool safely supports the activity, beginner sessions may develop safe entry and exit, comfortable immersion, controlled exhalation, floating, rotation and a dependable return to the wall. Learners with stable foundations can practise alignment, kicking, coordinated arm actions and breathing over distances suited to their readiness.

A parent or authorised adult resident should arrange access and handover, remain contactable and follow current supervision requirements. Relevant medical, sensory, behavioural or earlier water-safety needs should be shared before the lesson so communication, pacing and supervision can be adapted. Progress varies and should not be tied to a guaranteed timetable.

The presence of a separate wading pool does not establish its safety or suitability for instruction. It remains excluded even for young learners unless a different service is separately assessed and expressly approved in writing.

Adult beginners and stroke improvement

Adult beginners may work on relaxation, breath control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and repeatable short travel. Existing swimmers may focus on body position, breathing rhythm or coordination through drills suited to the verified pool. Diving, turns and endurance sets should not be assumed suitable until present depths, approved zones and resident traffic are checked.

Approved teaching aids must remain clear of entrances, circulation routes and emergency equipment. The pool remains a shared residential amenity, so coaching should reduce scope, move or pause whenever safe separation cannot be maintained.

SwimSafer-related practice

Suitable water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised at D’Cambridge. Condo practice is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires separately confirmed registration, an approved venue and an authorised assessment arrangement.

Weather, safety and shared use

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Follow current guest, attire, noise, photography and equipment rules. A coach may move, reduce, pause or end an activity whenever conditions become unsuitable.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, present ability, objectives, preferred timing, exact occupied unit and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, the communal main swimming pool, current conditions and coach availability before booking.
