Botannia residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons at the condominium’s shared pool facilities on West Coast Park. Sessions depend on authorised entry, current management rules, safe conditions, learner needs and coach availability.
CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Botannia, City Developments Limited, the joint-venture developer, its MCST and managing agent. A resident should confirm the estate’s current visitor and paid-coaching policy before arranging a first lesson.

Distinguish lap, play and spa water
The developer’s project fact sheet identifies a 50-metre lap pool, a play pool with interactive jets and a spa pool, as well as separate landscape water features and a biological pond. These labels matter: only management-approved swimming water should be considered for instruction.
The recorded 50-metre length should not be treated as proof that the entire lane or pool will be clear, open or suitable on the lesson date. Current depths, lane arrangements and maintenance conditions require verification. The play pool may be busy or feature-led, while the spa pool, landscape water and biological pond are not teaching pools.
Adapt the session to ability
Beginners may practise safe entry, breathing, immersion, floating, rotation, assisted propulsion and returning to a stable edge. The working depth must match confidence, height and recovery ability; a long pool is not automatically beginner-friendly.
Independent swimmers can work on stroke efficiency, freestyle breathing, backstroke alignment, breaststroke timing, pacing and controlled repeats. Training distances should respect the usable space and other residents. A private lesson does not create exclusive lane rights.
Confirm the correct West Coast Park block
Botannia uses multiple addresses including 27, 27A, 27B, 29, 29A, 29B, 31, 31A, 31B, 33 and 33A West Coast Park. The resident should give the authorised entrance, block, visitor procedure and precise pool-deck meeting point.
Botannia is distinct from Parc Botannia in Fernvale. Use the full estate name and West Coast Park address in the enquiry so the coach does not route to the wrong development.
Keep shared-pool use safe
Allow time for security registration and keep equipment clear of paths. Follow current rules on floats, fins, kickboards, photography and adult supervision. Pause for lightning, heavy rain, poor visibility, contamination, maintenance, crowding or management instructions.
A parent or authorised adult should remain contactable during a child’s lesson. Relevant medical, sensory and safety needs should be disclosed before the session. Selected SwimSafer-related foundations may be practised, but formal assessment or certification is not automatically available at Botannia.
What to include in an enquiry
Share age, current swimming ability, goals, preferred times, resident status, block, authorised entrance, visitor procedure, intended pool section and relevant safety needs. Confirm management permission first.

Frequently asked questions
Does Botannia have a 50-metre lap pool?
The developer’s fact sheet identifies one. Its current configuration, depths and availability must still be verified.
Can lessons use the play or spa pool?
Do not assume so. The selected water must be approved, safe and appropriate; spa and decorative water are not teaching pools.
Is this page for Parc Botannia?
No. Botannia is on West Coast Park; Parc Botannia is a separate Fernvale development.
Does a booking reserve a lane?
No. The lap pool remains a shared condominium facility.
Plan the right condo lesson format
Compare home pool swimming lessons, family condo lessons, current lesson rates, and the condo pool rules guide before enquiring. Pool permission and coach availability must be confirmed for each development.
