Alana Swimming Lessons

Alana residents can enquire about private or compatible small-group swimming lessons in the development’s communal swimming pool. Alana is a strata-terrace development at Sunrise Terrace rather than a conventional apartment condominium. Coaching may suit children, adult beginners and swimmers improving technique, subject to occupied-unit entitlement, resident-authorised access, management permission, safe conditions and coach availability.

CondoSwimming.sg is independent of Alana, its developer, MCST and managing agent. It cannot provide entry, approve an external coach or reserve water space. An eligible resident must confirm current rules.

Confirm the Alana swimming pool

Current exact-project records identify Alana as a 78-home strata-terrace development completed in 2018 at Sunrise Terrace. Current sale and rental listings and a November 2025 rental transaction support occupation. Exact-project records and project imagery identify a central resident-shared swimming pool, while a spa pool is listed separately.

This page concerns only Alana’s main communal swimming pool. It does not propose the spa pool, decorative water areas or private-home spaces for instruction. Project imagery and facility descriptions do not grant external-coach access or establish measured dimensions, depth profile, current maintenance condition, quiet periods or commercial-use permission.

Management should confirm the exact teaching pool, visitor process, authorised hours, external-coach policy and equipment or group-size restrictions. The coach should inspect visibility, entries, recovery edges, depth changes, deck clearance and resident activity before teaching. No exclusive section should be assumed.

Children’s swimming lessons

Beginner lessons may build safe entry and exit, controlled exhalation, comfortable immersion, floating, rotation and return to a secure edge. Once foundations are repeatable, practice may introduce alignment, kicking, coordinated arm movements and breathing over distances appropriate to the learner and shared conditions.

A parent or authorised adult should manage entry and handover and remain contactable. Medical, sensory, behavioural or previous water-safety needs should be shared before lessons so the coach can adapt communication and supervision.

Adult beginner and stroke coaching

Adults beginning from scratch may focus on relaxation, breathing control, balance, flotation, standing recovery and short, repeatable movement. Existing swimmers may work on efficiency, breathing rhythm, coordination, turns or pacing where the pool layout supports meaningful practice.

Private coaching does not turn the shared pool into a private venue. Training aids should be compact and kept clear of entry points and emergency facilities.

SwimSafer-related practice

Selected water-safety foundations and SwimSafer-related skills may be practised when appropriate. An Alana lesson is not official SwimSafer enrolment, assessment or certification. Formal participation requires a separately confirmed approved venue, registration and assessor arrangement.

Safety and residential etiquette

Lessons should stop for lightning, heavy rain, contamination, poor visibility, maintenance, unsafe crowding or management instruction. Current guest, attire, supervision, noise, photography and equipment rules apply. Residents retain normal use.

What to include in an enquiry

Share the learner’s age, current ability, goals, preferred schedule, occupied-unit entitlement and relevant safety needs. Confirm resident-authorised access, management permission, visitor procedures and the exact Alana communal swimming pool before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Is Alana a conventional condominium?

No. It is strata-terrace housing. It is included because exact-project evidence identifies a genuine communal swimming pool.

Can lessons use the spa pool?

This page does not propose it. Only the main communal swimming pool should be considered after confirmation.

Is pool space reserved?

No. The facility remains shared unless management expressly confirms otherwise.

Does coaching provide official SwimSafer certification?

No. Certification requires a separate approved arrangement.

Plan the right condo lesson format

Compare home pool swimming lessons, family condo lessons, current lesson rates, and the condo pool rules guide before enquiring. Pool permission and coach availability must be confirmed for each development.

Choose the right lesson pathway at your condominium

Compare kids condo lessons, adult condo lessons, and the full condominium directory. Lesson format depends on swimmer age, goals, pool conditions and your management’s access rules.

Review published rates, then send the condominium name and preferred schedule for a coach-availability check.
